Bora Bora Islands

Surrounded by a blue water lagoon and barrier reef, the islands of Bora Bora are magical at a glance. Romantics from all over the world have laid claim to this Island where the majestic Otemanu mountains pierce the skies. Simply put, Bora Bora islands is one of the most breath-taking Islands in the world!

Pora Pora - the ancient name, meaning "first born," came from legends describing this as the first island to rise when Taaroa, the supreme god, fished it out of the waters after the mythical creation of Havaii, now known as Raiatea. Although the first letter "B" does not exist in the Tahitian language, when Captain Cook first heard the name he mistook the softened sound of the Tahitian "P" for "B" and called the island Bola Bola. A nice little story for a nice little Island that is incredibly beautiful!

A perfect ten on the romance scale, this Island is perfect for those who want to run to where the lights won't chase them. Over water bungalows, turquoise waters, snorkeling, diving, canoe riding, sunset cruises, villas, and dates by the beach with the setting sun as the backdrop make for an ambiance found in fairytales!

Strawberi holidays, a travel passionate team, relentlessly work toward researching for new travel options that are the perfect combination of unexplored destinations, luxury ambiance, comfortable traveling, and great on tour activities, for a holiday experience that will cast memories to last a lifetime!

Bora Bora, as much as it is a feast for the eyes, the food cultures that fills entire tables is almost as delicious! Fresh fish, coconut pudding, sweet juicy pineapples, banana taro pudding, breadfruit, yams, shrimp glazed in vanilla sauce, poisson cru (raw fish marinated in lime and coconut milk) are few of the dishes that are a must try while at the Bora Bora Islands!

We only have a little while to dip our toes in blue waters and have the sun kiss our faces. We have a little life to scoop a little bit of the moon and follow tiny ducklings. Sometimes, what you really need is a Bora Bora vacation to soak all your spirit and mind and emerge free.
